Sundaram in sankrit - an ancient language from India that is often used to
express spiritual thoughts - means beauty. Thoughts that bring us in contact
with an urge for purity, the godliness in every being. House of Sundaram is a
place where people can come together to work on themselves collectively. You can
participate in one or more of the spiritual practices. Spiritual practice that
balance body and mind to connect to the deepest self; the soul, the divine
inside, pure love, beauty, peace and happiness.
Firstly, sit quietly with the legs loosely crossed. Start to regulate the
breathing. In yoga we always breathe in and out through the nose. Now we will do
the prolonged belly breathing.
Start breathing in through the nose to first fill the belly with air, then the
chest and finally bring the breath up into the head: you become completely full.
Then, breathing out through the nose: first empty the head, then the chest and
finally pull in the belly a little: you become completely empty.
Breathing in with the prolonged belly breathing, in three parts, you fill up
with powerful, loving energy.
Breathing out in three parts, head, chest and belly, all your tensions slide
away, you become completely tranquil.
