Yoga is the universal expression for
spiritual disciplines in Hinduism, Buddhism, and throughout S Asia that are
focussed towards achieving a higher perception and emancipation from
suffering, unawareness, and rebirth. More distinctively it is also the name
of one of the six traditional systems of Hindu beliefs. Vedic and Buddhist
stories talk about the doctrines of wandering religious disciplinarians in
ancient India who practiced a variety of meditation and austerities.
Yogahaven is the first of its kind to
present a hot yoga teacher training program in the UK. We offer
internationally and UK recognised Yoga Teacher courses. Our aim is to
maintain a centre of excellence. The foundations for this alone are based on
our beliefs of teaching quality yoga training and yoga
courses.
As the only Hot Yoga teacher
training available in the UK, we have worked hard to produce bona
fide yoga teaching courses to suit all walks of life.
From the foundation we have kept the
original Yogic principles of Satya, meaning truthfulness, Ahimsa, meaning
non-violence and Swadhyaya meaning self study close to the heart. These yoga
courses will provide a base for your yoga training and give you the
confidence to teach yoga in a safe and empathetic way.
On successful completion of the Teaching
Yoga Course you will be internationally certified through Yoga Alliance and
qualified to Teach Yoga.
In the UK you will be a Graduate of our Yoga Teaching School which is on the
Yoga Register and you will be entitled to use the letters YRT which stands
for Yoga Register Teacher, it is then that you will start to benefit from
Yoga Teaching.
Yogahaven is set over three floors in
Brighton and Hove's contemporary Yoga Training Studio. The roots of
Yogahaven began with the intention of constructing a space that was
attractive yet up-to-date and dedicated to environmental awareness.
Yogahaven offers eco friendly bamboo flooring, brilliant white walls and
panoramic sea views. It is the ideal location to flee the disarray of your
day to day life and create space for yourself to evolve through the customs
of Yoga.
One of the conditions of acceptance on one of our courses is that you need
to have been practising yoga for at least two years to qualify for one of
our yoga teacher training courses. Nevertheless, if you are studying a field
that is similar or related to yoga training, please let us know, as it may
assist your application.
