to educating the public on the health benefits of yoga, addressing safety issues
and other concerns of the community, and bringing yoga practitioners together in
dialogue, collaboration and play. Whether you are a seasoned practitioner, or
newcomer to yoga in British Columbia, please visit the Community Calendar for

find a practitioner or space you may wish to connect with. The Association
Partners listings are organizations who offer a benefit or discount to members
of YogaBC. Insurance and Extended Health plans have been hot topics in our
community, and we continue to persue coverage that meets the needs of teachers
and studios with notifications through pages on this site.
YogaBC is committed to providing education and social events for the
community to grow and learn together. If you are hosting an event, please

What began as a group of yoga teachers meeting in a small Vancouver studio in
the late 90's was registered as YABC - the Yoga Association of British Columbia
in March, 2000. Today as YogaBC, this association continues to act as a forum
for advocacy, dialogue, peer-to-peer connections, and continuing education. |
